SOLITUDE

This was the first time I saw snow. Like so much snow I would not have been surprised if anyone told me that I was in Russia.
This was Tokamachi though, a city located far away on the other side of the mountains from Tokyo. There was nothing much to do here. I imagine the life of the people here was not that easy either. But for us, it was just mind blowing. We had so many unbelievable moments on the trip, pinching ourselves to make sure that it was all real.Alone for everyone
We really need to appreciate what some people are doing in these difficult times (COVID-19 Corona Virus crisis). Security guards who are still on duty amongst reduced personnel are one such example. I can see single guards on duty having nobody to talk to, only maybe some stray dogs for company. Usually there are employees or fellow security guards who stop for a chat, asking how the day was.
Social distancing while at home with your family is much easier than being just the only one on the job with nobody around to speak with. I can't really imagine doing this. It's really heartbreaking and couldn't thank them enough.
This was shot from my gallery with a view of an office space that is usually occupied even at night.
